S-TECH AT EEDA’s DESTINATION GROWTH 2009

EEDA’s third flagship business event, held at Duxford Airspace on 3 November, was a successful and enjoyable day for all those involved from S-Tech.

Kevin Brown, Laurence Hill, David Lowe, Trudy Lambert, Jo Tippet and Roy Lavin all participated in manning the company trade stand; meeting with clients and delegates as well as attending various business strategy seminars hosted by a number of high profile speakers.

Amongst the guest speakers; Lord Alan Sugar, Greg Dyke, Scott Garret, Michelle Mone, Andrew Moss plus Angus Thirlwell – CEO of Hotel Chocolat.

The exclusive one day event focussed on key issues based on ‘surviving and thriving in a recession’ and addressed prominent topics facing businesses today including – innovation, sales and marketing, leadership, and accessing finance.

S-Tech’s Trade stand attracted many visitors; presenting promotional gifts including branded chocolates produced by one of our clients – ‘Hotel Chocolat’ plus a business card draw with the chance to win a magnum of champagne – won by Sarah Lee of Obsidian Consulting based in Cambridge.

Each of S-Tech’s DG delegates said that they really enjoyed the day, and how it provided great networking opportunities.

S-Tech looks forward to the next ‘Destination Growth’.
