Farming Schemes

S-Tech’s Farming Scheme provides comprehensive credit insurance for agricultural and horticultural products (including dairy products but not meat or livestock).

We cover the risk of non-payment due to insolvency or protracted default and are able to consider all or some of a company/individual’s business.

The cost of the policy is based upon the projected turnover multiplied by our premium rate (currently 0.55%), plus £22 for each credit limit application during the policy period. Actual sales are then obtained at the end of the policy year and a reconciliation takes place between the projected and actual turnover figures with any extra turnover invoiced at 0.55%.
