IEMA member's Professional Indemnity Insurance cover

S-Tech has been working closely with IEMA since it began. We provide professional indemnity insurance cover for its members and are recognised as the preferred insurance supplier.

We can arrange competitive cover with a wide policy wording that responds specifically to risk exposures faced by environmental professionals. Each case is individually underwritten to ensure that the best possible terms and cover are sought for Institute members.

Main details of the cover

Limits of indemnity are £250k up to £5m aggregate cover including costs and expenses.

Higher limits can be arranged.

Excess

Usually a minimum of £250 but often higher as it depends on the type of work and size of the consultancy.

Geographical and Jurisdiction Limits

Normally worldwide excluding USA and Canada. However, they can be included if required.

Liability Cover

It is possible to include Public and Employers Liability coverage within the policy or to arrange separate cover if it is more appropriate.

Premium Payment

Instalment facilities are available over 10 months subject to a small service charge.

Claims

Experienced adjusters are appointed to the scheme who work closely with members to ensure that if a claim occurs the matter is dealt with professionally and impartially.

Cover can be arranged for non members. However membership of IEMA is encouraged.
